Statistics on Voting in 2012 Reinforce Assets of New Voting Legislation

The Governor’s bill, Improving Access to Voting, passed on Sine Die and contained several reforms that could make it easier for voters to vote. One of its key features is increasing the number of locations and the number of days for early voting. Early voting, which has been in existence for just two election cycles is already more popular than absentee voting for those who chose not to vote on election day. This trend occurred in every county in the state.
