Blocks are justified to the left. Depending on how many blocks there are, these "slide" across the page. If you have three blocks, it'll look like you have three columns and they'll stay in their area. If you have only two blocks configured, they'll be justified to the left, even if you've selected block 2 or 3. If you want something in the middle, you can create a User 1 block and then just put blank spaces in it, and then put your item in User Block 2.

You make your text information stand out by placing it inside a table cell and coloring in the cell or by highlighting the text with color.
