What does it take to have a healthy environment, good transportation, thriving businesses and a high quality of life for Marylanders? Governor Martin O’Malley says it takes smart land use planning.
For years the State has urged Smart Growth principles, but a comprehensive approach is now being taken through the Maryland Department of Planning called Plan Maryland.
