BIOGRAPHY:
I believe in the fundamental principles of faith, family, and freedom. As a surgeon, attorney, military officer, community leader, loyal husband, and proud parent, I feel uniquely prepared to represent your interests in the 8th District. Therefore, we must redirect our focus from disease management to preventive medical services.
ENVIRONMENT:
Environmental management begins with sustainable development. We must ensure that the paths of economic, environmental, social, & political progress converge to meet today’s needs while preserving resources for future generations. Profitable, green communities are possible through ecologically sensitive environmental planning. I support federal subsidies for state ...
CIVIL RIGHTS:
It is paramount that terrorist threats are identified and repelled before catastrophe results. However, in protecting our national security, the three branches of federal government may only assert those powers granted to them in the Constitution. All prisoners should be treated humanely according to the laws of the Geneva Convention.
