Synopsis:
Establishing a Task Force to Study the Cost of Illegal Aliens in Maryland; providing for the membership and duties of the Task Force; providing for the designation of a chair of the Task Force; requiring the Department of Business and Economic Development to provide staff for the Task Force; prohibiting members of the Task Force from receiving compensation as members of the Task Force; authorizing a member to receive reimbursement for specified expenses; requiring the Task Force to report its findings; etc.

SB 52 – TASK FORCE TO STUDY THE COST OF ILLEGAL ALIENS IN MARYLAND LWVMD recommends ammending to include reporting of illegal aliens' contributions to the welfare of the State.
