LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES RECOMMENDATIONS DUE October 15
Of all the issues on which League has positions and could act on the State level, which do your members and/or your Board care most about?
Which budget or legislative issues are your members’ most likely to respond to Calls to Action about? What do you think will be the big issues of the 2008 session? The LWVMD Board will be selecting Legislative Priorities for the 2008 Legislative Session at our November 1 Board meeting, and we want your League’s recommen-dations to do that. Please send your suggestions to me by October 15 so that I can send a summary of those recommendations to the Board in preparation for our discussion.
